Mrs. T

I am an elementary special education teacher.  I love my job, my students, my colleagues, and my school.  I’ve been teaching for a while, but I still feel like I’ve only just begun.  Every year brings its own challenges; I hope to continue to face each challenge with an open heart, an open mind, and the ability to start each day with a fresh smile.  In June of 2007 I began working on my Masters of Education through Viterbo University.  I hope to graduate during the summer of 2009.  I am currently finishing up the last class for my reading endorsement.  Through out all the classes I’ve taken thus far, I’ve learned a great deal about effective teaching, reading strategies, and about my self as a teacher.
